Brazilian "Chamusca", head coach of Al-Taawoun, expressed relative satisfaction with his team's statistical performance despite the disappointing result after the Al-Taawoun vs Al-Ettifaq match, stressing that the team faced exceptional circumstances that affected the overall output and attacking focus

Numerical Superiority and a Lack of Efficiency

Chamusca explained during the press conference that the numbers were fair to "Al-Sukkari", saying: "According to the match statistics, our performance was better than the opponent's in several aspects, but we did not succeed in turning this dominance and the chances available into actual goals that would give us the three points"

The Toll of Absences and Fixture Pressure

The coach attributed the drop in level in some periods of the match to the loss of key pillars, noting that the absence of the influential trio (Roger, Girotto, and Flavio) left a clear void that affected the team's balance. He also added:

"The pressure of consecutive matches forced us to make wide-ranging changes and restructure some lines, and the participation of new players in tonight's match caused a lack of coordination and focus, which weakened the required attacking efficiency"

Club Culture and New Signings

In response to questions about the departure of some stars, Chamusca confirmed that selling players' contracts is part of "Al-Taawoun's strategy and culture", a step aimed primarily at providing resources to reinforce the squad and strengthen the team on a sustainable basis

Roadmap for the Coming Stage

Chamusca concluded his remarks by outlining the work for the coming period, stressing that the coaching staff will begin immediately, from tomorrow, working on integrating the newly arrived players into the team's tactical system, to ensure the maximum benefit from their services in the upcoming fixtures.
