2026/01/07

As an extension of a legacy spanning seventy years of history and giving, Al-Taawoun FC visited the Al-Aqilat Museum, as part of the celebrations marking 70 years since the club's founding, in a step that embodies the deep bond between the club and the heritage and rich history of the region

The visit was attended by Vice Chairman of the Board Mr. Sultan Al-Shuraida and CEO Mr. Ali Al-Shayie, along with first team head coach Mr. Chamusca, and a number of former Al-Taawoun stars, led by players Musa Al-Burjus and Ahmed Al-Sakakir

During the visit, the club delegation viewed the museum's collection of artefacts and historical documents telling the story of Al-Aqilat and their prominent role in trade, travel and shaping identity, which reflects the values on which Al-Taawoun was founded: ambition, work and belonging

This visit is part of a series of events organised by Al-Taawoun to celebrate its seventieth anniversary, affirming its pride in its roots and drawing inspiration from its distinguished journey towards a brighter future.
