2025/12/26

The head coach of the Al-Taawoun Club football first team, Chamusca, spoke at the press conference that followed the Al-Kholood match, touching on a number of technical and administrative aspects that accompanied the past period.

Chamusca stressed that the team faced a big challenge after the international break, explaining that being away from official matches affected the team's rhythm, as he said that in forty days Al-Taawoun played only one official match, against NEOM.

The coach pointed to the importance of the preparatory camp held in the State of Qatar, affirming that it was an important stop for working on strengthening the positive aspects and addressing some of the problems the team faced during the past period, which is reflected in performance on the pitch.

On the absence of player Romain Faivre from the match, Chamusca explained that the player went through some personal circumstances during the past week, noting that the technical and administrative staff are working to resolve these matters, wishing for his quick return to support the team in the coming phase.

At the end of his remarks, Chamusca commented on what is being circulated about the possibility of him taking charge of the Saudi national team at the upcoming World Cup, affirming his pride at his name being linked to this idea, but he stressed that the national team's current technical project is going well, and that any change at this time could have a negative effect on the national team's journey.
