Al-Taawoun head coach, Brazilian Chamusca, held the press conference ahead of the Al-Ettifaq match in Round 3 of the Roshn Saudi League, where he reviewed the main features of the preparations and his technical vision before the anticipated match at Wolves Park

Chamusca stressed that the win over Al-Ettifaq was the first victory at the team's home ground and a deserved result based on the players' level on the pitch, noting that the team wasted several clear chances that would have increased the goal tally

Regarding the difference between the previous match against Al-Nassr and this one, Chamusca explained that Al-Nassr entered the match as a team that had played two official matches, while Al-Taawoun suffered from some absences and the lack of readiness of some players returning from injury

As for the team's attacking cohesion, the coach praised Waleed Al-Ahmad's goal and described it as clever because of his excellent reading of the play, stressing that taking advantage of such chances reflects the development of Al-Taawoun's attacking system

As for his technical approach, Chamusca emphasised that modern football no longer depends on an absolutely attacking or defensive coach, but on the ability to deal with the course and circumstances of the match with flexibility and a balance between defence and attack.
