Within the pre-set schedule of the preparatory camp in the Netherlands, Al-Taawoun first-team coach, Brazilian Chamusca, gave the team's players a break from daily training today, as part of managing physical and mental loads during the preparation period for the new season.
The planned break came out of the technical staff's concern to strike a balance between physical work and rest, which helps maintain readiness levels and avoid fatigue
especially given the rising pace of training over the past days, which included intensive fitness and tactical aspects.
The team is scheduled to resume training tomorrow in preparation for completing the preparatory program, which includes a number of friendlies and intensive technical training.
