Al-Taawoun first-team player Fahad Al-Jumaiah underwent a successful operation on his upper jaw, following the injury he suffered during the team's training session yesterday evening at the team's camp in the Netherlands
Medical examinations and X-rays carried out on the player showed minor fractures in the jaw, which required urgent surgical intervention
The operation was carried out under the supervision of maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Alexander Drospreet, who confirmed the success of the surgery and the stability of the player's condition, and based on the treatment plan the player will need a rest period of 6 weeks before a gradual return to rehabilitation and training
For their part, Al-Taawoun's management and the technical and medical staff wished Captain Fahad Al-Jumaiah a speedy recovery, affirming their full support for him during the recovery phase.
